item 1Chemically clean and thoroughly wash condenser coil(s): A dirty coil can increase you're cooling costs and can shorten the life of your air conditioner.

item 2Lubricate motor and fan bearings as well as other moving parts as necessary: Poor lubrication causes drag in the motor and drive shaft requiring more electricity to overcome resistance. This can cause early motor or bearing wear.

item 3Clean and inspect evaporator coil and drain pan when readily accessible: Foreign material on the evaporator coil reduces the systems cooling capacity to remove heat. This can also increase your cooling cost and shorten the life of your air conditioner.

item 5Clean and inspect condensate drain lines and fittings: A clogged condensate drain can cause considerable water damage.

item 6Clean, level, and calibrate thermostat: This will ensure temperature control.

item 7Adjust and thoroughly clean blower motor and fan assembly as needed: Adjustment and cleanliness of blower motor and components is necessary for proper air flow to assure maximum cooling benefits.

item 8Inspect, tighten and test all electrical connections. This includes disconnect switch: Loose electrical connections are common sources of problems which cause electrical parts to fail in turn causing you're A/C to become inoperable.

item 11Measure starting and running amperes, line voltage, and control voltage: Air conditioner motors are designed to operate at standard voltage and amperage draw. Measuring these can identify the problem before the unit fails.

item 12Test system for proper airflow and air delivery: Broken or unattached ductwork can cost you extra money throughout the year in lost efficiency and airflow.

item 13Inspect and adjust all safety controls: This ensures safety of the equipment.

item 14Monitor refrigerant (Freon) pressures and temperatures: Improper refrigerant charges (too much or too little) can damage the compressor reduces the cooling capacity of equipment, causing A/C to be overworked.
